RSLDHTTPCONF: SLD DS HTTP(S) Configuration

You can use report “RSLDHTTPCONF” to create the required HTTP destination automatically, or follow the instructions listed in the report to create the HTTP destination manually in SM59.

Steps to create HTTP destination manually in SM59

  • Destination name:
    • SLD_DS_* for SLD
    • SLD_DS_[CID] for FRUN
  • Destination type:
    • HTTP Connections to External Server (Type G)
  • Set the destination settings:

On the Technical Settings tab, enter the target system settings as follows:

  • Target Host:
    • name of the SLD or FRUN target host
  • Service No:
    • HTTP Port of the SLD or FRUN target host
  • Path Prefix:
    • Enter /sld/ds

On the Logon & Security tab, enter user and password for Basic Authentication. For SLD, the user must have the data supplier authorization (role/group SAP_SLD_DATASUPPLIER)

For FRUN, the user FRN_LDDS_[CID] must have the role SAP_FRN_LDB_DS

On the Special Options tab, enter the HTTP setting as follows:

  • HTTP version:
    • Select HTTP 1.0.
  • Compression Status:
    • Select Inactive to disable compression.
  • Status of Compressed Response:
    • Select No to disable compression response.
  • Test the connection.
