You can use this report to display change documents for Central User Administration (CUA).
You can call the report from transaction SCUA by choosing “Goto” > “Change Documents for CUA Landscape”, from transaction SUIM by choosing the tree node “Change Documents” > “For CUA Settings”, or directly, by entering transaction code SCUH.

If a system is part of a CUA, the way to understand the change documents for users (change document object “IDENTITY”) very often depends on how the CUA landscape is defined (see transaction SCUA), and how its distribution parameters are set (see transaction SCUM). This report provides an enhancement for CUA-related changes to users, which you can analyze with the options on the tab page “CUA Systems/Roles/Profiles” in report RSUSR100N.
Integration
Change documents for the CUA landscape are standard change documents (see transaction SCDO) for the object ‘USER_CUA’.
These are written when you make changes in CUA landscapes with transactions SCUA, SCUG, and SCUM, or with the report RSDELCUA.
The following changes are recorded by these transactions/reports:
- Changes to the CUA model view:
- Creation
- Deletion
- Changes to the CUA sending system, usually known as the “CUA central system”:
- Creation
- Deletion
- Changes to the connected child systems:
- Addition (as part of the CUA landscape)
- Deletion (from the CUA landscape)
- Changes to the status of the transfer of users from the CUA child systems (see the note “New System: Not all users were added” in the tree display of the CUA landscape in transaction SCUG):
- Setting
- Changing
- Deletion
- Changes to the distribution parameters for the individual user attributes in the CUA:
- Initial setting
- Changing
- Deletion
- Changes to the monitoring of the CUA landscape in transaction SCUA (see SAP Note 1645544):
- Activation
- Deactivation
- Direct changes to the CUA model view in a CUA child system using the function “Temporary Deactivation (CTRL+F2)” in transaction SCUA (see SAP Note 962457):
- Deactivation
- Reactivation
- Direct deletions of the CUA model view in a CUA child system using the report RSDELCUA
In the CUA child systems, no changes to the CUA child systems in the landscape (third point above) are recorded.
Features
The report displays the change documents for the change document object “USER_CUA”.
The report can be called both in the CUA central system and in the CUA child systems that support this function. Since this function has been delivered later, the recording of the change documents only starts with the next change to the existing landscape. Missing change documents before this point cannot be regenerated.
The default setting is to display the change documents that exist locally.
In a CUA central system, you can also display the change documents of a CUA child system.
Selection
The first part of the selection screen, the Standard Selection includes the same characteristics as the other reports in the User and Authorization Information System (transaction SUIM):
- ‘Changed By’ (user who made the change)
- You can fill this field with your own user name by choosing [logged-on user] the button. This allows you to search for changes that you made yourself.
- ‘From Date’ and ‘From Time’ (start date and time of the period to be checked)
- You can use the buttons ‘Week’, ‘Month’, and ‘Year’ to set the appropriate start date.
- ‘To Date’ and ‘To Time’ (end date and time of the period to be checked)
- Only the first parameter, ‘Model View’ (also known as “Name of the CUA”) is different from the names of the other change document objects. In the other reports, such as RSUSR100N or RSSCD100_PFCG, this field is used for the parameters ‘User’ or ‘Role Name’.
In the second section, Output, you decide whether, in addition to the change docuemnts that exist locally in the CUA central system for the CUA landscape, you also want to display the change documents for the CUA landscape from a remote system in the results list. To do so, choose the checkbox “Show Changes from the [Remote/Child] System”, and enter the logical system name of the desired system in the associated field.
If you do not enter anything there, or if you enter an incorrect name, only the local change documents from the CUA central system are read and displayed. This option is only available in a CUA central system.
The options in the Selection Criteria section depend on the selection made in the “Output” section.
While the selection options “CUA Model created/deleted” and “Sending system” are available in both output variants, the parameters “Child systems” and “Users completely added from systems” are only selectable (and only useful) for the evaluation of the local change documents.
In the final section, Distribution Parameters (SCUM), you can display the change documents for the individual distribution parameters from transaction SCUM. The tab pages here correspond to those in transaction SCUM in naming, sorting, and the parameters they contain.
Output
The output variant Local Change Documents for the CUA Landscape produces a list of the change documents with the old and new values for the changed attribute, the results list for the output variant Show Changes from the Remote/Child System displays only the new values from the central system and the value from the child system that you selected for comparison.
