
The report SCMG_CASE_RECORD_SYNC is to synchronize case records (tab ‘Linked Objects’ is a case record) with their record model.

Prerequisites
There are 3 input parameters for the report. It is mandatory to enter POIDDRID .Either AREA or SPS ID should be entered (not both). Area should be RMS application specific areas only otherwise enter the SPS ID.
POIDDRID – Enter the POID Directory ID of the record model.
Locate record model in customizing ( SPRO -> SAP NetWeaver -> Application Server -> Basis Services-> Case Management -> Define Case Types -> Define Case Types:- ‘Case Rec. Model’ field contains the technical ID of the record model ). By clicking on F4 of this field & selecting the correct area, you can see the short text which can be used to search for the model in the application transactions. Find the record model in the application transaction screen(eg. SCASE). Right click on the record model in the history and select ‘Information’ option. Then select ‘Technical Information’ tab. At the end is the POID Directory ID.
AREA – Enter the Records Management specific area only.
Values can be either S_AREA_RMS or S_AREA_CMG.
SPS ID – Enter the client framework area Service Provider ID.
In the RM registry choose Application Registry and then the framework area (S_AREA_FRAMEWORK). Here select the client framework of the required area and then the corresponding SPS ID. For example SRM_CMG_CLIENTFRAME_WIN for S_AREA_CMG.
Output
The report gives a count of cases synchronized.
In case of error during synchronization, it gives the error message for each case which has failed along with GUID of the case.
