Report SCWN_DS_CLEAR_NOTE_FILE can be used to delete temporary files if this is not done automatically. The temporary .ZIP files and .SAR for the notes and the temporary file SIGNATURE.SMF are located in folder $(DIR_TRANS)/tmp
Purpose
Note Assistant automatically deletes the SAP Note files that are extracted during digital signature verification process from the application server directory. If Note Assistant fails to delete the SAP Note files, you use this report to perform the cleanup.
Prerequisites
You should have the delete authorization to delete ZIP, SAR, SMF files from the application server directory. Since this cleanup activity is optional, not everybody needs this authorization. Preferably, the system administrators require this authorization and can be avoided for other users running SNOTE transaction.
Selection
Provide the SAP Note number as an input and execute the report.
Output
The system removes all the SAR, ZIP, and SMF files from the application server.
