This report SDPVGEN serves to generate the Product proposal for background processing. The information develops the product proposal for the specified selection criteria based on the settings defined in Customizing activities under Dynamic Product Proposal. The results are stored in the database.

Activities
- Define the product proposal procedure determination for background processing in Maintain Procedure Determination (in Background) for the Product Proposal.
- If required, create a selection criteria variant for this, Generate a Product Proposal, and report.
- Schedule the Generate Product Proposal report for background processing.
Note:
If a customer master record or one of the sources specified under Maintain Table of Origin for Product Proposal is deleted (for example, using an archiving or destruction object), then the product proposals generated for this customer might also be deleted from the database during the subsequent run of the Generate Product Proposal report.
To destroy product proposals for a particular customer, use transaction ILM_DESTRUCTION with ILM object SD_PRODUCT_PROPOSAL.
