1. For MaxDB administration, you can use the Database Manager (DBM GUI). You can install and download the MaxDB software from the SAP site. Once installed, open your Database Manager.
2. Click on Add and insert the Database server/instance IP address and Port (if it’s defined else you can just leave it to blank). Then, click on Add. If the information entered is correct, the information will appear on the Database Manager.
3. You can now connect and administer the MaxDB database instance using the Database Manager GUI.
Note:
You can also use Database Manager CLI (DBM CLI) to manage the MaxDB database.
