Prerequisite
Download the Software Provisioning Manager from the SAP Service Marketplace. In this example, we are using the SWPM10SP04_3-20009707.
Steps
Extract and launch the SWPM. This will bring you to below screen. Select the following option,
Generic Installation Options > Diagnostics in SAP Solution Manager
> Uninstall – Diagnostics Agent
Enter the profile directory of the Diagnostics agent.
Select the Diagnostics agent to uninstall from the host.
Click Yes.
The Diagnostics Agent user ARASOLMAN\SAPServiceDAA needs to be removed from the trusted users list that is described in the Host Agent profile file (host_profile).
Do you want to proceed with the installation? In case you choose No, you have to proceed as follows:
Edit the profile (C:/Program Files/SAP/hostctrl/exe/host_profile) of the Host Agent as specified below and restart it.
Remove ARASOLMAN\SAPServiceDAA from the service/admin_users parameter value list.
If the parameter value is empty, remove the full line.
Next, the parameter screen. You may review all the entered parameters earlier. Once confirmed, click Next to start the uninstallation step. (No screenshot as we accidentally deleted it).
The task progress. The uninstallation steps will take less than 15 minutes.
