Purpose
When the data of technical systems in the landscape management database (transaction LMDB) is changed, the changes are to be automatically uploaded to SAP Support Portal. This is done by this job (SM:UPLOAD SYSTEM DATA).
Integration
As of SAP Solution Manager 7.2 SP01, the job for this report (AI_SC_UPLOAD_SYSTEM_DATA) substitutes the background job LANDSCAPE FETCH (report RSGET_SMSY).
Prerequisites
The communication channel to SAP has to be set up correctly under SOLMAN_SETUP > Mandatory Configuration > System Preparation > Support Hub Connectivity.
The data of technical systems is automatically supplied by a System Landscape Directory (SLD), and the connection between SAP Solution Manager and SLD has been set up under SOLMAN_SETUP > Mandatory Configuration > Infrastructure Preparation > Set Up Landscape Management. If additional sstem descriptions are required, you have completed them in transaction LMDB.
The user who runs this report has an S-user in transaction AISUSER, and this S-user has the authorization to maintain system data.
